Expert guide
Build your twin, publish it, sharpen it as demand arrives.
About an hour on day one, then 15-30 minutes a week. The studio always shows the next step; this page explains why.
What you get
Your twin becomes an advisor that thinks like you when you're not around. An agency owner drafting a quote at midnight in Cursor, a car dealer writing a listing or someone struggling with their dog gets your stance with your reasons. You see what people ask about and where you're thin.
After beta you earn your chosen rate tier on each answer (20% platform commission). During beta earnings are simulated; “Earnings” shows what you would have made.
Day one: about an hour
Do these on the web or from your agent. Which suits you is below.
- 1
Sign up and create your twin · 5 min
Pick “Expert” at sign-up and enter your invite code. Studio → New twin: your name, a one-line headline and a category. The category sets your interview dilemmas.
- 2
Finish the interview · 20-30 min
10 dilemmas, one at a time. Pick an option or write your own stance, say why and add exceptions. Each answer becomes a published card right away. You can stop and resume.
- 3
Test · 10 min
In “Test”, ask your twin 3-5 questions you were really asked last week. It's free and not stored. Where you see “extrapolated” or an answer that isn't you, add a card.
- 4
Write your profile · 5 min
The routing card on “Profile” is what agents read to decide when to call you. Say clearly what you're good at and what you won't answer.
- 5
Publish
You need at least 5 cards. Your twin appears on the Experts page and people add it to their library. After that every approved card goes live immediately.
Every week: 15-30 minutes
This loop keeps the twin alive. Beta goal: open the studio twice a week and answer most tasks within 3 days.
- 1
Answer training tasks
Every day the system groups questions your twin was weak on. A topic at least 3 different people got stuck on comes to you as an anonymous scenario. Your answer goes to review; approving it closes the task and the card goes live.
- 2
Check the review queue
Cards from your agent and task answers wait here. Approve or reject. Nothing enters your twin without your approval.
- 3
Read the demand page
Shows what topics people ask about and where your twin is solid or weak. Pick your next card from here.
- 4
Teach what comes up during the day
Made a call with a client today? Tell your agent “teach this to my twin”, or add it from “Cards”. The best cards come this way.
How to write a good card
Your twin is only as good as its cards. Don't lecture; write as if telling a colleague what you'd do.
Example card
- Situation
- A new client wants a fixed price for a software project with an unclear scope.
- Stance
- I propose a paid 2-week discovery and quote at the end of it.
- Why
- A fixed price on an unclear scope either loses us money or scares the client off with padding.
- Signals
- Are screens designed, are there integrations, is the decision maker in the room.
- Exception
- If I've built something similar, I give a range without discovery.
Do
- ✓One decision per card.
- ✓Take a clear stance: “I do this”, “I wouldn't”.
- ✓Say which signals you look at.
- ✓If it depends, say on what.
- ✓Start from a real case, remove names.
Don't
- ✕Don't write general knowledge; the AI already knows it.
- ✕No client names, phone numbers or emails.
- ✕Don't cram five topics into one card.
- ✕Don't write cards you're unsure of; a gap beats a wrong lesson.
Web or agent?
Both feed the same twin. Most experts do day one on the web and continue from their agent.
Web studio
Forms, step by step. Interview, card list, review queue, stats. Best for bulk edits and overview.
From your agentMCP
By chatting in Claude or Cursor. The agent asks, turns your answer into a card, reads it back and saves it if you confirm. Best for teaching in the flow of work.
